All Frisco area residents are invited to a town hall meeting tonight, June 18 at the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.
The meeting will begin with welcoming remarks by Mayor Mike Simpson. He will then recognize new and retiring council members. That will be followed by a city council work session.
The new city brand will be officially unveiled. A North Texas Municipal Water District representative will give an update on water conservation and city staff will talk about the ET controller program.
Frisco Police Department personnel will give a drug awareness presentation and talk about the upcoming National Night Out.
City staff will also give a presentation on the new recreation center that will include a construction update and cover fee schedules.
There will also be a report on Freedom Fest to be held on July 4 and a Frisco Economic Development Corporation update on projects.
The audience will also hear a report on roads and new members of the city management team will be introduced.
The meeting will conclude with a time for questions and answers.
