Carrie Sue Johnson
Carrie Sue Johnson, 76, of McKinney, Texas passed away peacefully August 12, 2010, in McKinney, Texas. She was born December 20, 1933, in McKinney, TX to JW and Callie Seabolt.
Ms. Johnson lived a long and fulfilling life. She lived her life early as a military wife and moved on as a seamstress and CNA. The most enjoyment she got out of life was spending her time caring for and raising her five children, 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by five daughters, Callie Spears of Fort Worth, Texas, Kay Duncan of Princeton, Texas, Eunice Saul of Dallas, Texas, Rosie Bates of McKinney, Texas, and Jamie Washington, of Plano, Texas; siblings Robert Seabolt, Felix Seabolt, Shirley Burnside and Frankie Bradshaw; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Jimmie Johnson; parents JW and Callie Seabolt; four brothers, Billy Joe Seabolt, Harold Seabolt, William Seabolt and Vernon Seabolt; and three sisters, Jessie Ives, Rosemary Crutcher and Juanita Flagan.
Ms. Johnson will be cremated and would like to invite friends and family to a memorial service to be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 15. The service will be held at Blue Ridge Bible Church, 100 Main St., Blue Ridge, TX 75424.
