West hires new baseball coach: English to TCA, Kevin Clark takes over Wolfpack
BY Kevin Hageland, khageland@starlocalnews.com
For the second time in two seasons, Plano West has a new baseball coach.
Just one year after Don English took over for Kendall Clark in what essentially served as a job swap with Clark moving to Coppell, English is moving on as well.
English has accepted the head job at Trinity Christian Academy.
West didn't have to look far to find English's replacement as assistant coach Kevin Clark will take the reigns. Kevin Clark has experienced plenty of success with the Wolves as he was an assistant when the team won the Class 5A State Championship in 2008 and advanced to the Class 5A State Tournament in 2010.
"Obviously we are excited about moving Kevin into this position," Hughes said. "He has been loyal to us for some time and deserves this opportunity."

" Couldn't have happened to a better young man. Kevin Clark will be a HS Coaching SuperStar! His knowledge of baseball and his love of the game will benefit the program, the parents and, most of all, his players. "
