Second search conducted at Plano home: FBI agents return to house where explosive device was found

The FBI conducted a second search Thursday afternoon of the home of the man who allegedly attempted to blow up a gas regulator Sunday night in central Plano.
On Tuesday, agents initially searched the home of the man identified as Anson Chi by a court document, said FBI spokeswoman Katherine Chaumont. While she confirmed agents were back on the scene Thursday, she would not comment on what was removed from the residence.
During the original search, agents removed an explosive device which was later detonated in rural Kaufman County. A similar device could have been the cause of the explosion near a gas regulator in the 3600 block of West Parker Road on Sunday. The explosion damaged the regulator's valve, but the small gas leak was quickly stopped by workers from Atmos Energy, said Officer David Tilley of the Plano Police Department.
The incident is being investigated by the North Texas Joint Terrorism Taskforce under direction of the FBI.
