Another of the victims is a 9-month-old Latin-American child who lives in Frisco. Another is a baby even smaller of McKinney, also a Latin. The fourth victim is a 21-year-old McKinney man whose case is said to be a light one. The children are all paralytic, it is said. Health authorities say that the outbreak is the worst in the county in five or six years.

The Collin County portion of the new FM 428 will extend from the Denton County line to a junction with FM 455 a short distance west of Celina. The Denton County portion will extend from Farm Road 1385 south of Little Elm creek to the Collin County line.

Read Philippians 4:1-9
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28l)
Some years ago when an office coworker broke a wrist, someone asked if she had received benefits from the health and accident insurance on which she had paid premiums for so long. Her amazing reply was, “Oh, I didn't even bother them with this minor thing. I want to save that for real emergencies.”
Many of us have a similar attitude toward our heavenly Father in our daily experiences. Instead of relying upon God's promise of help in troublesome situations, we go on in our independence paying the premium of worry and annoyance. If only we would accept God, He would be our comfort and help in every time of need.
We need not wait for the real emergencies of life. If we rely upon divine guidance, the big problems may be averted. In any event, they will lose their terror, for courage and strength will be given us to surmount our difficulties.
Thought for the Day: If we love God, He abides with us and helps us in every time of need. Ruth L. Washburn.
