After-Fourth Blood Drive at Vista Ridge Mall Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8

After spending a patriotic Independence Day, Vista Ridge Mall encourages individuals to roll up their sleeves and give blood during Carter BloodCare’s After-Fourth Blood Drive at the shopping center on Saturday, July 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 8 from 12 to 6 p.m.
Donors will find the Carter BloodCare station on the upper level near Dillard’s, between the Dallas Cowboy Pro Shop and Scrubs Style. For easiest access, donors should enter the mall at Entrance #2. Each donor will receive a pair of movie tickets.
Potential blood donors can volunteer beginning at age 16 with a parent’s consent, and 17-year-olds can give independently. There is no upper age limit for giving. All donors must weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good general health and present a photo ID. Donors are advised to eat a nutritious meal and drink plenty of water before giving blood.
