Faith Lutheran Church - Plano presents Amazing Desert Journey Vacation Bible School

Students enjoy crafts at Faith Lutheran Church's 2012 Vacation Bible School
By Amy Sandling Crawford
Last week, Faith Lutheran Church took almost 100 area children on an Amazing Desert Journey through the church's week-long Vacation Bible School program.
"Each day the children learned about God's love and how He provides for their lives now and in eternity through Jesus, His Son, our Savior," said Faith Lutheran Church Associate Pastor Mark Taylor of Allen. "These kids grew in faith at Amazing Desert Journey as they explored God's Word. They helped each other learn with memorable activities, confessed their faith in Jesus our Savior, and reached out to others to share Jesus' love in the world.
The free program concluded with a closing program on Friday, June 22, where students recited memorized Bible verses and sang some of the songs that learned throughout the week in front of an audience of parents, friends and Vacation Bible School staff.
