Parker University recently announced the winner of the Protocol for Life Balance Student Scholarship, part of $15,000 in scholarships awarded. Paul Shrogin, a tri-one chiropractic student who resides in Carrollton, was awarded the $1,000 scholarship at a ceremony held on the university's campus.

"I really cannot adequately express my thanks at the generosity of this scholarship," Shrogin said. "This scholarship helps to allow me to focus on my education and my community."

Shrogin graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Physiology and Neuroscience.

Since 2009, Protocol has partnered with Parker College through the Parker Seminars. This is the fourth scholarship awarded by Protocol for Life Balance, whose mission is to empower people to lead healthier lives.
