Terrance Black murder trial: Day Nine (Update 5 p.m. - Black found guilty)

Update 5 p.m.
After more than four hours of deliberation, the jury in the Terrance Black trial returned with the verdict shortly after 4:30 p.m. Black was found guilty of capital murder and will be sentenced to an automatic life sentence with no possibility of parole.
The jury has had the case for more than three hours. They have asked for and been granted permission to use a laptop computer to view photos and video from the trial.
Update 12 p.m.

Update 10:50 a.m.
Prosecutor Justin Johnson and defense attorney Toby Shook have both presented their closing arguments. John Schomburger is expected to speak next for the state. Jury should get case by around noon,
Update 8:30 a.m.
Closing arguments will be getting under way shortly. After having small crowds attend the trial for the last week, there is a line outside the court room today with interested spectators. There is seating inside reserved for family and friends of Susan Loper and Terrance Black, as well as a handful of spots for the media.
Arguments are expected to take three hours and the case should be given to the jury by noon.
