Robert Marion (Bob) Stark
Robert Marion (Bob) Stark of Frisco TX, lovingly known by his grandchildren as "Pops", went to his Heavenly Father on October 1, 2012 at age 75.
Bob was born April 18, 1937 in Frisco, TX to Cecil C. and Gladys Juanita (Hazlewood) Stark.

Bob married his childhood sweetheart, Janice Lee Brundidge, on April 7, 1956 in Dallas, TX.

He enjoyed a successful career of 31 years as an independent insurance agent in Tyler and Longview, TX.

Prior to his insurance career, he worked for the Dallas Morning News for over 20 years.

Bob truly loved life and was known for his engaging smile, keen sense of humor and love of a good joke. He was happiest when surrounded by family and his many friends. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed the game with his friends in East Texas for many years. Bob's other interests included ballroom dancing with his wife, Janice, and watching his favorite sports teams, the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Frisco.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Janice Stark of Frisco, TX; daughters, Vicki Linberg (spouse Ed) of Plano, TX and Wendy Claman (spouse Dave) of Boise, ID; grandson Brandon Patterson (spouse Heather), granddaughter Holly Stadler (spouse Paul) and grandson Ryan Mitchell; six great-grandchildren; brother, John D. Stark (spouse Barbara) of Celina, TX; sister, Jane Bradley (spouse Matt) of Des Moines, IA; an extended family and a host of friends.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Gladys Stark; brother, Cecil Eugene Stark and his sister, Patsy Elaine Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church of Frisco with Rev. Doug Miller and Rev. Bill Meek officiating.
