Police calls for Sept. 10 - 17 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.
Sept. 10
2:55 a.m. – Missing person in the 1200 block of Settlers Ridge Road. Reporting Person advised male patient missing, 83-year-old confined to wheelchair. Subject located. He is with family.
5:36 a.m. - Business alarm in the 2700 block of South Preston Road. False alarm. Delivery truck has key, but wrong code.
7:57 a.m. - Traffic control in the 300 block of North Louisiana Drive. Flashing school zone light out for northbound traffic. Referred to another agency. Texas Department of Transportation notified.
8:14 a.m. - Assist fire department with medic call in the 300 block of East Ash Street. Backup only.
11:39 a.m. - Abandoned vehicle in the 100 block of North Ohio Drive. Junk vehicle towed from location.
4:33 p.m. - Domestic disturbance in the 5600 block of County Road 177. Assist Collin County Sheriff office. Backup only.
5:37 p.m. - Vehicle disturbance in the 800 block of West Walnut Street. Four-wheelers on the pasture by the apartments. Reporting Person said they are getting dirt everywhere. Unable to locate four-wheelers.
7:29 a.m. - Citizen contact at Equine and Old Stables. Flagged down by juveniles asking for stickers. Did not have any stickers left, but gave them frisbees.
10:50 p.m. - Traffic hazard at Farm-to-Market Road 428 and Dallas Parkway. Tire in roadway. Piece of tire was removed from roadway.
11 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 1200 block of Miller Lane. Stated that there is a dog that will not stop barking. Owner will put dog in garage for rest of night.
11:25 p.m. - Community policing in the 3400 block of Preston Lakes Drive. Open garage door, crime card completed.
Sept. 11
12:11 a.m. - Community policing in the 1200 block of Stone Lane. Open garage door, crime card completed.
12:55 a.m. – Parking violation in the 400 block of Mustang Trail. Parked facing traffic, parking violation card completed.
8:51 a.m. – Burglary of motor vehicle in the 300 block of North Colorado Drive. Offense report completed.
9:59 a.m. - Burglary of motor vehicle in the 300 block of East Walnut Street. Burglary of vehicle in progress. Offense report completed.
10 a.m. – Backup officer in the 300 block of East Walnut Street. Attempt to locate suspect of burglary of motor vehicle that just occurred. Searched area and spoke with several individuals, unable to locate possible suspects.
1:10 p.m. – Criminal mischief in the 300 block of Carter Ranch Road. Offense report from event on Aug. 15, 2012.
5:10 p.m. - Fraud in the 1300 block of Missouri Street. Victims identifying information was used by an unknown suspect. Offense report completed for fraudulent use of identifying information.
5:14 p.m. - Theft in the 2700 block of South Preston Road. Subject has not returned to pay for oil change. Subject returned and paid for oil change, situation resolved.
8:49 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 500 block of East Malone Street. Phone call in reference to a male subject threatening her. Unable to locate, attempted to call the Reporting Person, message saying the number was not accepting calls.
9:39 p.m. - Motorist assist at Pecan Grove and Oak Bend. Vehicle on side of roadway, subject out looking under car. Heard something dragging and pulled off to check it.
11:29 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 8300 block of County Road 128. Parked behind church. Was parked talking to girlfriend, decided to take her home and go home himself. No offense observed.
Sept. 12
12:32 a.m. - Parking violation in the 500 block of Paddock Lane. Parked facing traffic, parking violation card.
1:28 a.m. - Community policing in the 800 block of West Cedar Street. Open garage door, crime card completed.
10:35 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 200 block of West Pecan Street. Reporting Person found a green baggie that is used to sell drugs. Baggie was empty but was obviously used as a drug container due to residue that was inside. Documentation only.
10:59 a.m. - Suicidal subject at North Preston Road. Student took 30 pills of over-the-counter meds. Referred to another agency, subject transported to hospital by Celina Fire Department.
11:36 a.m. - Loose livestock at County Road 88 and Preston. Loose cow, unable to locate.
6:15 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 500 block of South Arizona Drive. Phone call, Reporting Person was walking down sidewalk and walked by a neighbor that is three doors down the street and the person started acting crazy towards the RP and her kids telling her that she is not allowed to walk on the sidewalk. Spoke to resident about sidewalk. They did not understand that it was not theirs. They did understand after officer left. Parties will stay away from each other in the future. Documentation only.
7:05 p.m. - Vehicle disturbance at Walnut and Alabama. Kids riding four-wheeler in street. Officer spoke to parents of child and advised them it is illegal for them to ride a four-wheeler in roadway, second notice.
8:32 p.m. - Assist fire department with trash fire in the 1300 block of North Louisiana Drive.
Sept. 13
4:17 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 1500 block of South Preston Road. Red Chevy truck parked at business under construction. Spoke to subject, he is a worker doing remodel on Shell station.
7:52 a.m. - Minor accident at Preston and Ash. Vehicle's mirror hit another vehicle. Mirror left rub marks on fender. No report.
10:08 a.m. – Juvenile problem in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Celina Middle School Principal Janet Calvert requested an officer speak with an unruly juvenile. Spoke with juvenile.
10:37 a.m. - Driving while intoxicated in the 600 block of East Sunset Boulevard. Reporting Person states that an individual is drinking in a car and came inside and bought more beer. Unable to locate vehicle.
12:33 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 1200 block of Miller Lane. Barking dog was barking when officer arrived. Officer spoke with one of the residents abut the barking. Officer then spoke with owner on phone who said it would get taken care of. This is second time officer has been dispatched to location.
11:11 p.m. - Reckless driver at East Walnut and North Oklahoma. Offense and arrest report filed for Driving While Intoxicated.
Sept. 14
12:19 a.m. – Criminal mischief in the 400 block of Tarpan Trail. Kids driving around Carter Ranch, throwing eggs. No report, Reporting Person just wanted to get kids to stop throwing eggs.
6:43 a.m. - Traffic hazard at County Roads 53 and 1117. Car stuck on railroad track. Tow truck called to assist and railroad was advised to stop rail traffic until clear. BNSF checked track and no damage was observed.
11:13 a.m. - Funeral escort at Preston and County Road 94. Assist with traffic.
5:25 p.m. - Loose livestock in the 14000 block of West Farm-to-Market Road 428. Flagged down by passing motorist and advised cattle in roadway. Cattle were put back in pen and gate was shut.
5:53 p.m. - Follow-up investigation in the 500 block of South Arizona Drive. Deliver animal complaint warning, no answer at residence. Warning left on front door with notes that warning is for the dog barking at night and loose during day.
5:56 p.m. - Assist other agency in the 200 block of Preston Road. Thirteen-year-old was angry towards his mother. They argued and now he is running down the road, unknown direction. Referred to another agency, remained on scene until deputy arrived and took over.
7:57 p.m. - Parking violation in the 300 block of East Maple Road. Party at this location, multiple vehicles blocking road. Vehicles were moved prior to officer arrival. Has been problem at that location in past.
8:22 p.m. - Citizen contact at Walnut and Maryland. Subject had broken down and was walking to get help. Gave ride due to rain so he could get help with vehicle.
9:53 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 5500 block of Oak Bend Trail. Kids walking around area ringing doorbells and running. Reporting Person chased them back to address on Pebble Creek. Unable to locate juveniles.
Sept. 15
1:05 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 1200 block of Stanford Lane. Vehicle parked in pool parking lot. No one around vehicle or in pool.
1:34 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 13000 block of North Louisiana Drive. Vehicle on side of road in driveway. Situation resolve, released to parents.
2:33 a.m. - Reckless driver at Farm-to-Market Road and County Road 8. Vehicle all over the road, driver was arrested for warrants.
6:12 a.m. - Motorist assist at Preston and Pecan. Officer used vehicle to push motorist out of street. Gave Reporting Person ride to work at Settlers Ridge Nursing Home.
10:27 a.m. - Loose livestock at Farm-to-Market Road 428 and Dallas Parkway. Steer secured behind fence.
11:29 a.m. - Loose livestock at County Road 83 and Heritage. Loose cattle, officer able to secure cattle behind fence.
4:35 p.m. - Information in the 600 block of East Sunset Boulevard. Reporting Person states an employee has given drugs to another person. The person has overdosed and is in ICU at Centennial Hospital in Frisco. Information report.
5:10 p.m. - Burglary of building or residence in the 900 block of West Bois D'Arc Street. Reporting Person states there was a kid who came into garage and stole a skateboard. Subject showed skateboard to son. Offense report completed.
5:20 p.m. - Suspicious person in the 600 block of West Ash Street. Reporting Person states there is a male wearing pajamas walking down street. Subject has been known to trespass on properties. RP thinks he might be high. Did not locate the subject.
11:05 p.m. - Suicidal subject at South Alabama Drive. Reporting Person states subject who lives at this address has threatened to kill himself. He sent a picture of his arm with a hole poked in and sent another message stating he will never see again. Offense and arrest report. Subject was transported to Green Oaks Dallas for evaluation.
11:30 p.m. - Minor accident at Walnut and Maryland. A car has run into a brick wall. Driver's side door is open, subject just sitting in driver's seat with lights on. Documentation only. Per deputy no accident occurred. Vehicle ran out of gas and rolled up against brick wall when pushed off roadway by driver. Was towed as traffic hazard. No damage to vehicle or bricks.
Sept. 16
2:29 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Ohio and Beech. Parked in church parking, subjects in backseat. No signs of anyone else in area. Subjects went home.
4:52 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of South Oklahoma. Vehicle parked running with lights on at auto business which is closed. Driver smoking and checking emails. No offense occurred.
8:42 a.m. - Loose livestock at Farm-to-Market Roads 455 and 428. Officer able to get cattle secured in fence. Collin County Sheriff's office trying to get rancher to fix fence.
9:15 a.m. - Loose livestock at Farm-to-Market Roads 455 and 428. Officer able to rebuild broken fence, cattle secure.
1:30 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 300 block of West Beech Street. Child refuses to return home. Officer found child on East Beech walking. Took child home and returned him to Reporting Person.
1:42 p.m. - Loose livestock in the 600 block of East Sunset Boulevard. Loose donkeys, animals secured in fence.
2:27 p.m. - Major accident at Carter Ranch and Preston. No report, downgraded to a minor accident. No injuries, drivers exchanged information prior to officer's arrival.
8:01 p.m. - Citizen assist in the 12000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 428. Subject riding motorcycle around parking lot. No offense occurred, subject had bought new motorcycle and was practicing.
8:33 p.m. - Assist other agency in the 4000 block of County Road 84. Dark Chevy car, someone just blew up Reporting Person's mailbox. Helped check area for suspect vehicle, referred to another agency.
9:30 p.m. - Loose cow in roadway at County Road 134 and Lone Star. Unable to locate.
Sept. 17
3:07 a.m. - Community policing in the 500 block of West Winchester Drive. Tailgate open on vehicle. Crime card left with vehicle. Tailgate was shut by officer.
3:24 a.m. - Community policing in the 3700 block of Hay Meadow Street. Open shed door. Crime card completed.
