RECER
Roy Wade Recer of Melissa, Texas, passed away November 20, 2012, at the age of 66.
He was born June 18, 1946, in Celeste, Texas, to Charlie and Callie (Thorp) Recer. On November 14, 1969, Roy married Mary Sue Tarrant in Durant, Oklahoma.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Recer; son, Morris Recer; brothers, James Recer, Bud Recer, J.A. Recer and wife Allison, Willie Recer and wife Karen; sister, Annetta Gant and husband Earl Ray.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Callie Recer and brother, Charles Recer.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2012, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
