Yard Santa returned safely
Santa returned

This may seem like no big deal and a bit silly, but we were delighted with the return of our yard Santa. He has been in our family for 12 years.
On the night of Dec. 7, we were very sad to look out our window to discover our Santa was gone. We had hoped he would return somehow, but we must say we were totally elated and surprised when one of Plano Police Department officers knocked on our door asking if we had a missing Santa.
Apparently, there were some pranksters who helped Santa trespass on a neighbor's property. The officer took a chance to find Santa's home and drove through the neighborhood. He had an inkling that this may be his yard with the empty metal pole standing sadly in our yard.
We did not get the officer's name, but we have attached his photo with our daughter returning our Santa.
