She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 magical years, Howard; her parents Tom and Martha; her brother David; and sister Mary.

Pat graduated from Sherman High School in 1953. She attended cosmetology school in Sherman, Texas. In 1962, she moved to Anchorage, Alaska, with her two small children, Billy and Mary. In the spring of 1963, she met and fell in love with her husband, Howard G. Clark. Howard was a SMSGT in the United States Air Force stationed in Anchorage, Alaska, with his two sons, Marc and Ken. They returned to Texas in June 1963 where they married, joining together their four children. One year later the family welcomed the newest addition, Sherrie.

Pat and the family lived the military life for a few years, traveling and living in places like Goose Bay, Labrador; Minot, North Dakota; Mobile, Alabama and Altus, Oklahoma.

Upon retiring, she returned to her hometown of Sherman and put down roots. The children grew up and attended school in Sherman, all the while being loved and cared for by Pat and Howard. In 1978, Pat went back to school and earned her associates degree in Real Estate. Pat was very devoted to all of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the numerous foster children that she and Howard welcomed into their home over the years. More than anything else, Pat enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Howard and Pat loved to camp in their various RVs over the years, where they were regulars at many local campgrounds.

Pat touched the lives of so many people during her time here on earth. She was always willing to help her family, neighbors, friends, or strangers. She loved her husband and family dearly. Her family and friends will always miss her, but they are at peace knowing that she is now in heaven with the love of her life, her parents, brother and sister.

Pat herself would proudly say that she had a wonderful life. We were blessed to have her and now have a very special Angel watching over us.
