Wilson Roscoe Terrell
Wilson Roscoe Terrell of Plano, Texas, passed away January 4, 2013, at the age of 79.
He was born August 19, 1933, in Altoga, Texas, to Barr C. Terrell Sr. and Myrtie (Carrell) Terrell.
Wilson was a graduate of Princeton High School. On July 3, 1986, he married Oletta Hollis in Plano. Wilson proudly served his country in the military during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Vickery Park Masonic Lodge, a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite.
He is survived by his children, Bart Terrell and wife Ardith of Carrollton, Texas, Martha Fritz of Atlanta, Georgia, Terry Hollis of Plano, Texas, Shelia Page of Plano, Texas, and Debbie McCalpin and husband Terry of Forney, Texas; grandchildren, Steven Terrell, Wesley Terrell, Andy Fritz, Joe Fritz, Ashton Dearing, James Grade, Madelyne Page and Macy Page; and great-grandchild, Corbin Ferroni.
Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, Barr and Myrtie Terrell; wife, Oletta Terrell; brothers, Barr C. Terrell Jr. and Milton Terrell; and sisters, Georgia Freiberger and Janelle Lewis.
A funeral service was held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2013, at First Assembly of God, 1609 14th Street, Plano, Texas 75074. Interment followed at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family received friends during a visitation on Saturday, January 5, 2013, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
