Plano child molester sentenced to 40 years: Man found guilty of repeatedly assaulting adoptive daughter
From Staff Reports
Lewis Michael Wall, 52, of Plano, received five maximum sentences on Friday for repeatedly molesting a child, announced Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis today.
According to jury trial testimony, Wall, the child’s adoptive father, began molesting her when she was around five years old. The abuse began in Arkansas and continued when they moved to Georgia. When the victim was 16 years old, Wall and the victim moved to Plano and the sexual assault continued.
The victim told a friend’s family in Plano after she graduated from high school, and they reported the abuse to the police. Wall was arrested on Sept. 29, 2010.
Assistant Criminal District Attorneys Janet Cook and Crystal Levonius prosecuted the case and were assisted by District Attorney Investigator Kenny Newton and legal secretary Sandy Schilling. The case was investigated by Plano Police Detective Chris Jones. Retired State District Judge Keith Dean presided over the case.
