David Lowman
David Lowman of McKinney, Texas, passed away January 21, 2013, at the age of 59, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on October 6, 1953, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Donald and Viola (Reynolds) Lowman.
David was a graduate of Purdue University. On April 1, 1982, he married Ruth Ann Riley, in West Lafayette, Indiana.
David was in sales of computer applications for large businesses. David was a gourmet cook, avid history buff, and served as a greeter at Trinity Presbyterian Church in McKinney, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Lowman of McKinney, Texas; son, Matt Lowman and fiancé Michelle Jones of McKinney, Texas; stepsons, Scott Norman and wife Debbie of Richardson, Texas, and Darcy Norman and wife Agathe of Austin, Texas; grandson, Lucas Norman, also of Austin, Texas; brother, Donald Lowman of Jacksonville, Florida; sister, Shirley Toscano of Colorado; stepmother, Joan Burns of Lafayette, Indiana; stepbrother, Brian and wife Phyllis Peck of Lafayette Indiana, and a host of other loving family and friends.
David was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lowman; mother, Viola McBee, stepfather, Earl McBee; and stepbrother, Bob McBee.
The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2013, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 5871 Virginia Parkway, McKinney, Texas. A reception will be held at the church immediately following the service. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
