Welcoming Baby New Year

The first baby of the New Year at Texas Regional Medical Center at Sunnyvale, Emily Rebecca Servin, didn't make an entrance until 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
Her parents are Mayra and Saul Osbaldo Servin of Garland.
She weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces. She has two sisters, Breanna and Genesis.
"I liked the treatment I received and the hospital's environment," said Mayra Servin, who gave birth to Genesis 16 months ago at TRMC-Sunnyvale and hopes for more children.
Mayra said the family has yet to decide how they will celebrate Emily Rebecca's New Year Baby status in the future.
