Local dignitaries joined airport officials to break ground on Tuesday, Jan. 22, on the construction of a $3 million airport tower at Mesquite Metro Airport.
The tower will allow the airport to increase its air traffic, since some planes will only land at airports with towers due to legal issues with insurance policies.
