Benny Howell
Benny Howell, 67, of Pottsboro, Texas, passed away January 16, 2013, in Princeton.
Benny was born January 4, 1946, in Borger, Texas, to Lee and Rita (Stephens) Howell.
He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1969 with a bachelor's degree from the College of Pharmacy.
Benny was a pharmacist for more than 40 years, working at a number of pharmacies in the North Texas area. He retired as a staff pharmacist at Kroger. Benny was a member of the pharmacist fraternity, Phi Delta Chi, at The University of Texas.
He is survived by his son, Aaron Howell and wife, Anne of Princeton, Texas; daughter, Dawn Mathison and husband, Todd of Weatherford, Texas; grandchildren, Devin Howell, Michael Howell, and Taylor Mathison; brothers, Roger Howell and wife, Kim of Eastland, Texas and Ronnie Howell and wife, Patsy of Big Spring, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A remembrance gathering will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
