TINGDALE
Thomas "Tom" Stanley Tingdale, 60, of McKinney, Texas, passed away quietly in his sleep on February 6, 2013.
He was born June 25, 1952, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Donald and Janet Elizabeth Tingdale.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald, and nephew, Travis Tingdale.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Teresa (Teri) Tingdale; two daughters, Ashley Barnett and husband, Marcus, and Whitney Hockenbrough and husband, Jared; two grandchildren, Rachel Barnett and Alex Barnett; as well as his mother, Janet Goodrich and brother, Ted Tingdale.
Tom was known for his quiet, easygoing manner, high ethical and moral standards and his corny jokes. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend.
Tom truly treasured each and every relationship.
Visitation is Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee St., McKinney, Texas 76069. The service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at the same location.
