Sunnyvale head coach Howard York knew the tough task that lied ahead against four-time defending state champion Brock.
York believed if his team was going to pull the upset, it would have to hold the Eagles to around 36-40 points.
But when Brock hit that mark in the third quarter, the Raiders knew they were in trouble.
Sunnyvale fought tough for a while but it did not have the firepower to hang with the reigning state champions, as the Eagles went on to a 63-28 victory on Thursday in a Class 2A area round playoff game at Fort Worth Nolan High School.
The Raiders were within 15-11 after one quarter, but that deficit had swelled to 29-17 by halftime.
Brock pushed the advantage to 40-22 through three periods and then closed it out with a 23-6 run.
