Victory Place @ Coppell video among top winners

A video produced at Victory Place @ Coppell for the Coppell Independent School District is one of three top winners in a “20/20 Vision” video contest sponsored by Edgenuity, a leading provider of online and blended learning solutions.
Edgenuity has announced that the Coppell Independent School District is among two runners-up in the video contest which highlighted how online and blended learning solutions are improving academic outcomes for students, teachers, schools and districts across the country.
Winner of the grand prize in the contest was Henrico County Public Schools in Virginia, which received a $5,000 technology grant.
Ron-Marie Johnson, Victory Place @ Coppell principal, said her staff worked with students in order to produce the entry. Teachers who assisted students included Brian Kennedy, Marco Rodriquez, Jamie Lackey, David Hume and Rhonda Shaw.
Sari Factor, Edgenuity CEO, said, “All of the contest participants showcased great examples of the many ways schools can use Edgenuity to engage students and help them achieve their academic goals. We’re thrilled to award the winning schools with additional support to help them continue to drive positive academic results with effective, results-oriented online and blended learning solutions.”
Factor added, “Coppell Independent School District’s submission shows how Edgenuity is transforming the learning process. Its video, ‘The Future is Here,’ focuses on how online and blended learning solutions help to cultivate self-directed, resourceful problem solvers.
