Coach Kara Quinn of MISD's Terry Middle School was recognized by the Texas Community Education Association's 'Teacher of the Year' for MISD Community Education. Coach Quinn conducts basketball and volleyball camps for MISD Community Education. She received this award, in part, due to excellent reviews and comments received by camp participants as well as a devoted following of participants. Some participants have signed up for her camps for two or three years.
